Engagements Communes pour la Santé et le Bien-Être : Visite de SE Umaro Sissoco Embaló President de la Guinée-Bissau à la Polyclinique Umugiraneza de Kibimba

Ce 28 avril 2025, SE Umaro Sissoco Embaló, Président de la Guinée-Bissau, a effectué une visite marquante à la Polyclinique Umugiraneza de Kibimba, accompagné de son homologue burundais, SE Evariste Ndayishimiye. Ce déplacement a permis aux deux leaders de découvrir de près les divers services offerts par cet établissement de santé, reconnu pour son engagement envers l’amélioration du bien-être de la population.

 

Au cours de leur visite, les deux chefs d'État ont eu l'opportunité d'explorer plusieurs services clés de la polyclinique. Parmi ceux-ci, le service de fécondation in vitro, qui a connu de nombreux succès, a particulièrement retenu leur attention. Cette innovation en matière de traitement de l'infertilité témoigne des avancées significatives réalisées par la médecine burundaise.

 

En outre, ils ont visité les services de pédiatrie, de gynécologie-obstétrique, d'ophtalmologie et de médecine interne.

 

La qualité des soins prodigués et l’infrastructure moderne de la polyclinique ont été saluées, illustrant une volonté collective de fournir des services de santé adéquats pour tous.

 

Dans le cadre de cette visite, la Première Dame du Burundi, SE AngelineNdayishimiye, a eu l'occasion de leur présenter le Centre d’Ecoute et de Prise en charge Psychosociale implanté à Ngozi. Ce centre, dédié à l'aide aux personnes confrontées à des problèmes de dépendance, reflète un engagement fort en matière de santé mentale et de soutien social. Il travaille à offrir des solutions durables pour surmonter les défis liés à la toxicomanie.

 

La Première Dame a également souligné son engagement envers le secteur de l’éducation, en mettant en avant des initiatives visant à renforcer l’accès et la qualité de l’éducation pour tous les Burundais. Elle a affirmé que l’éducation est un pilier essentiel pour le développement durable du pays.

À l'issue de cette visite, SE Umaro Sissoco Embaló a exprimé son soutien indéfectible aux initiatives menées par la Première Dame du Burundi qui s'engagent à l'amélioration du bien-être de tous.
