La Première Dame de la RDC et celle du Burundi unissent leurs efforts pour soutenir les déplacés à Musenyi

Le 29 avril 2025, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, Première Dame de la République Démocratique du Congo, a rencontré en compagnie de SE Angeline Ndayishimiye, Première Dame du Burundi, les personnes déplacées en provenance de la RDC au site de Musenyi, situé dans la commune de Giharo, province de Rutana. 

Cette visite a permis aux deux Premières Dames d'échanger directement avec les familles déplacées, d'inspecter une clinique mobile établie sur le site et de dialoguer avec les gestionnaires ainsi que les agences des Nations Unies en charge de la réponse humanitaire. Actuellement, le site de Musenyi abrite près de 19 810 personnes ayant fui les violences armées qui secouent leur pays d'origine.

Dans le cadre de cette visite, les deux Premières Dame ont remis un don humanitaire conséquent destiné à améliorer le quotidien des déplacés. SE Angeline Ndayishimiye a exprimé sa gratitude envers sa partenaire congolaises, soulignant que cette initiative revêt un caractère significatif et contribuera grandement au bien-être des personnes dans le besoin, surtout après le soutien en vivres et non vivres apporté par SE Angeline Ndayishimiye, Première Dame du Burundi, ce 23 avril 2025.

Dans son allocution, Denise Nyakeru a réaffirmé son engagement à travailler pour le rétablissement de la paix et de la sécurité dans les régions d'origine des déplacés. Elle les a rassurés sur le fait qu'ils pourront bientôt regagner leurs foyers. La Première Dame de la RDC a promis un soutien indéfectible pour améliorer le quotidien des personnes touchées par cette crise humanitaire.
